Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a renowned UNESCO World Heritage site located in southwestern Uganda. It is celebrated for its exceptional biodiversity and its role as a critical sanctuary for endangered species.

• Mountain Gorilla Haven: The park is home to roughly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorilla population, making it one of the premier locations for gorilla trekking.

• Diverse Ecosystem: Its landscape consists of ancient, mist-covered rainforests that provide a habitat for over 120 mammal species, 350 bird species, and hundreds of butterfly varieties.

• Geographic Variety: The terrain is rugged and mountainous, with elevations ranging significantly, which contributes to the park’s dense and “impenetrable” vegetation.
