1. Pricing

All prices quoted by AAA Safaris are based on the prevailing costs at the time of quotation and are subject to change without prior notice. Once your booking has been confirmed and the required payment has been received, your quoted price will be honored unless changes result from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to government taxes, currency fluctuations, park fee adjustments, or other regulatory changes.

2. Reservations, Deposits & Payment

Reservations may be held on a provisional basis for up to 14 days, subject to availability. If confirmation is not received within this period, the reservation may be released without further notice.

To confirm your booking, a deposit of 10% of the total safari cost is required unless otherwise agreed in writing. Some hotels, lodges, or camps may require higher advance deposits, and where applicable, these requirements will be communicated during the booking process.

The remaining balance is payable 30 days before the scheduled departure date. Failure to complete payment within the required period may result in cancellation of the reservation.

3. Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:

• 60 days or more before departure: 10% of the deposit is non-refundable.
• 30–20 days before departure: 50% of the deposit plus applicable bank charges will be retained.
• 19–15 days before departure: 75% of the deposit will be retained.
• 14 days or less before departure: 100% of the deposit will be forfeited.

We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance before travelling.

4. Tour Rates & Inclusions

Unless otherwise stated in your itinerary, safari rates include:

• Professional driver-guide services.
• Safari transportation.
• Park and conservation entry fees (where included in your package).
• Accommodation as specified in the itinerary.
• Meals as indicated in your itinerary.
• Applicable government taxes and service charges.

Tour rates do not include:

• International or domestic flights (unless specified).
• Visa fees.
• Travel insurance.
• Personal expenses.
• Laundry services.
• Beverages unless stated.
• Tips and gratuities.
• Any item specifically listed as excluded in your itinerary.

5. Accommodation

AAA Safaris works with carefully selected hotels, lodges, camps, and resorts. Accommodation is generally provided on a twin-share or double-room basis unless otherwise requested.

Should your preferred accommodation become unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to provide accommodation of a similar standard and quality.

Single rooms are subject to availability and may attract an additional supplement.

6. Transportation

Transportation is provided using safari vans, 4×4 Land Cruisers, or other suitable vehicles depending on the selected package, destination, and group size.

AAA Safaris reserves the right to use trusted partner operators where necessary while maintaining our commitment to safety and service quality.

Professional English-speaking driver-guides are provided, and guides speaking other languages may be arranged upon request and subject to availability.

7. Changes to Itineraries

Although every effort is made to operate tours exactly as planned, AAA Safaris reserves the right to modify routes, accommodations, schedules, or other travel arrangements where necessary due to weather conditions, road conditions, safety concerns, government directives, supplier availability, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Where practical, suitable alternatives of equal value will be provided.

AAA Safaris also reserves the right to decline or terminate participation by any traveler whose conduct may affect the safety, comfort, or enjoyment of others. Where appropriate, any applicable refund will be determined at the company’s discretion.

8. Liability & Insurance

AAA Safaris maintains appropriate insurance for its operations as required by applicable laws.

However, clients are responsible for obtaining adequate personal travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip cancellation, loss of baggage, and other travel-related risks.

AAA Safaris shall not be held liable for delays, cancellations, injuries, loss, damage, or additional expenses arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, natural disasters, government actions, strikes, mechanical failures, or actions of third-party service providers.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
