Lake Nakuru National Park

Set on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, this park is a paradise for birdwatchers and rhino conservationists. While its shores are often painted pink by thousands of flamingos, the surrounding woodlands provide one of the best opportunities in Kenya to spot both white and endangered black rhinoceros.
